On Tuesday 30 May, the Executive Director had a meeting with the General Director for General Directorate of Seafarers in the Panama Maritime Authority, Captain Juan E. Maltez, at the office of the Consulate General in Kobe. Points to be discussed was the future collaboration with IAMU and the Panama Maritime Authority.
Captain Maltez also provided his special lecture on the tasks and responsibilities of Maritime administration of Panama at the Graduate School of Maritime Sciences at Kobe University, which was coordinated by Professor Matthew Rooks.
