On 2 December 2020, the Executive Director participated in the 4th GMN* Global Stakeholders Committee meeting held online to update GMN status and achievements. Since December 2017, IAMU has participated in this initiative as a member of the Global Stakeholders Committee. MTCC-Asia is hosted by Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) in China, which is also one of the IAMU member universities.
