The IAMU Section of the Journal of Maritime Affairs is now seeking input from potential authors to submit manuscripts for publication.
The theme of the IAMU Section is Maritime Education and Training (MET) and in this context MET is considered to include the wide range of issues associated with all forms of education and training which are related to maritime activities carried out by persons both at sea and onshore. The April 2014 edition of the journal contains an editorial from Glenn Blackwood, Chair of IAMU which expands upon the topics which are applicable for the IAMU Section.
The IAMU Annual General Assembly has consistently produced some high quality papers however; members are encouraged to take a further step and become actively involved and support this exciting initiative.
The success of the IAMU Section very much depends on you, the membership of IAMU, working to support and contribute to this important initiative. I sincerely encourage you to take advantage of this important opportunity and contribute your knowledge, experience and research.
