On 24th June 2020, Batumi Navigation Teaching University held Online Round Table Meeting “Seafarer Day 2020 – Challenges and New Opportunities” for celebrating the day of Seafarer 2020.
Deputy Executive Director was invited to the round table to introduce the summary result of the survey on the impact of and response to COVID-19.
He explained the summary result with highlighting that difficulties in practical training and onboard training are main concerns of the IAMU member universities.
The round table was attended about 40 participants including speakers from Belgium, China, Georgia, Turkey, and Japan.
