Esteemed colleagues,
USMMA and Web Institute are collaborating on a conference dealing with sustainability in shipping, to be held October 28 and 29 this year. All are encouraged to attend remotely or in-person. This will be our second joint conference, and will include presenters from the USA and Europe, including USMMA faculty and students. Some topics that will be discussed are ship batteries, wing-sails, wing-in-ground vehicles, sailing vessel safety, suction sail experimental results, novel high-lift sails, and sailing cargo ship financing, among others.
