On the morning of June 7, over 200 students and faculty from Korea Maritime and Ocean University (KMOU) visited Dalian Maritime University (DMU) aboard the training ship “HANNARA”.

The event featured academic and cultural exchanges, with keynote speeches by Presidents, professors and students from both institutions discussing the vision and development of maritime education.

During the event, the KMOU delegation visited DMU campus and research centers, including the navigation simulator and land-based engine room.

In the afternoon, a DMU delegation led by President Shan visited the KMOU “HANNARA” ship. During this visit, they signed an agreement for faculty and student exchanges, highlighting the deepening relationship and collaboration since 1995.

This exchange event strengthens ties between the two institutions, fostering greater academic and cultural understanding and paving the way for future collaborations in the maritime industry.
