By VADM Santos’s initiative, MAAP organized the 3rd regional meeting on 23 February to nurture the supportive environment in the region.
In the meeting, participated members shared their current situation in the prolonged impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, mainly how they dealt with, ongoing challenges to overcome, and future perspectives.
And the result of the election of the next representative of region 2 was announced.
VADM Santos reported about the memorandum of understanding between members in their region. He expected the progress of their arrangements to be reported in the next meeting and other members of the region could benefit from the things they have done.
He encouraged everyone to help one another improve the standard of education, assessment, and practical training for all our students, especially in the maritime industry.
