The 6th Amendment of the Basic Agreement and the Annex were ratified at AGA23

On 18 October 2023, the 6^th Amendment of the Basic Agreement and the Annex were ratified at the 23^rd Annual General Assembly held in Helsinki. The main points of the 6th amendment are as follows:

• To expand the field of IAMU activity from seafarers to Global Maritime Professionals
• To indicate the NF-IAMU Fellowship programmes
• To simplify the membership criteria
• To modify proxy processes to a board, committee meeting or the AGA
