IAMU was awarded an annual prize from the University of Dubrovnik

On 4 March 2024, the IAMU was awarded an annual prize from Dr. Nikša Burum, the Rector of the University of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
On behalf of the IAMU, the Executive Director received the award from Dr. Marijana Pećarević, Vice Rector for International Relations and Science, at the University of Dubrovnik.

The description of the award is as follows.
“On the basis of Article 12, paragraph 3 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette, No: 119/22), Article 60 of the Statute and Article 23 of the Ordinance on Awarding the Recognition of the University of Dubrovnik, the Senate of the University of Dubrovnik, at the proposal of the Rector, at its 198th session on 31 October 2023, decided to award an annual prize to the International Association of Maritime Universities for an exceptional contribution to improving the quality of scientific and teaching activities and strengthening the international recognition of the Maritime Department of the University of Dubrovnik.”
