On 30 January 2024, the IAMU Executive Director visited the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) in Lisbon for a courtesy call on the EMSA’s executive Director, Ms Maja Markovčić Kostelac.
Each of the Executive Directors introduced organizations’ tasks and responsibilities and exchanged our views on future cooperation on safe, secure and environment in shipping. EMSA also provided IAMU’s visitors with a short tour to the simulator for ship inspectors and the Maritime Support Services centre in the headquarters.
