On 21 and 22 March 2024, the IAMU Executive Director visited AMET University in Chennai, India. The main purpose of this visit was to briefly explain the task and responsibility of the International Executive Board, as AMET would be a new IEB member from April 2024. In addition, AMET University provided him with technical tours in the main campus and the Institute of Science and Technology.
The Executive Director was also invited to the inauguration ceremony of the international marine symposium, Marine Traffic 2024 held in the AMET campus on 22 March, where he had a chance to meet Mr. K. Keerthivaasan, a student who obtains the scholarship through the NF-GMP Fellowship programme.
