On 27 April 2023, the IAMU’s Executive Director made a courtesy call on the Consul General of the Republic of Panama, Mr. Victor Javier Almengor Caballero, at his office in Kobe. They had a positive discussion on future collaboration between IAMU and Panama through the International Maritime University of Panama, one of the IAMU member universities in Region III (Americas).
