The Turkish Higher Education Council (CoHE) has awarded PIRI REIS UNIVERSITY “The Prize (or Excellence in International Co-operation”, due to the cooperation it exhibited with Qatar Naval Military College in the frame of the ”provision of education and the development of research institutions abroad”. PRU was awarded this prize as a result of nation-wide selection process among 207 higher education institutions including both government and foundation universities.
PRU has also won a new grant as the applicant and leading partner under EU Erasmus + Strategic Partnership Project scheme. The Project MINE-EMI (Maritime Innovative Network of Education for Emerging Maritime Issues) will try to bring new solutions on the emerging maritime issues to ensure sustainable development of maritime transportation for efficient and effective use of oceans.
