On 18 December 2021, the Executive Director was invited to “Navik Jeevan Report Presentation Program”, which was organized by the Indian National Shipowners’ Association (INSA) for presenting the research report on Indian seafarers as well as students studying in the under-graduate maritime programs at Indian maritime institutes. NAVIK JEEVAN (LIFE OF SEAFARERS) SURVEY

A survey of all aspects of the professional life of the Indian seafarers and training in India, was conducted by the Research & Training committee of INSA. A comprehensive report of the above survey has been made and the same titled “NAVIK JEEVAN” was released by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Minister of Ports, Shipping & waterways, Govt. of India, on 2nd December 2021, in an online function.

The findings of this exhaustive survey, were presented and discussed with the industry in an online function on 18th December 2021, which was graced by Shri Amitabh Kumar IRS, Director General of Shipping, as the Chief Guest.
