In the period from October 15th to 16th, 2024, President Pham Xuan Duong of Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) visited Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) in St John’s.
During the visit, both universities discussed potential collaboration opportunities and signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will be the foundation for collaboration in developing articulation undergraduate programs, faculty and student exchange programs and collaborative research projects.
The visit marks a key milestone, opening doors for future cooperation between the both universities in the maritime education, training and research.
