On 13 and 14 September 2022, the head of the working group on collaboration with SAIMI and the Executive Director participated in the meeting at SAIMI located in the Ocean Sciences Campus of Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). The objective of the meeting is to draw up a concrete action plan for FY2023 in accordance with the MoU between IAMU and SAIMI to be signed at AGA22 in Batumi.
The working group is preparing an action plan for FY2023 based on the information obtained through presentation and discussion during the meeting and submit to the upcoming IEB meeting for approval. The collaborative activity is going to commence from April 2023.
