The WMU Journal of Maritime Affairs (JoMA) is an international peer reviewed journal that covers the subject areas of maritime safety, marine environment protection and shipping operations and gives, in this context, special attention to human factors and the impact of technology, and maritime education and training.
The IAMU Section is a part of the JoMA dedicated to the activities of IAMU. The focus of the IAMU Section is on Maritime Education and Training (MET) and maritime research. The IAMU Section follows the same editorial review procedure as JoMA and accepts a range of papers for publication including: Articles, Issues of Contemporary Interest, Reports and Comments, and Book Reviews.
This provides a great opportunity for IAMU members to not only publish high-quality peer reviewed articles based on research but also to have their articles abstracted/indexed in SCOPUS, Emerging Sources Citation Index, EBSCO Discovery Service, OCLC, Transport Research International Documentation (TRID)…
We hope IAMU Section of JoMA will become the primary platform for academician and researchers of IAMU member universities to share findings and discuss all aspects of maritime affairs in the development of future innovations that will benefit the international maritime community.
Our sincere thanks to all the contributors for their support and interest.
We once again request all academician and researchers of IAMU member universities to send their unpublished papers for publication in our journal.
