The Local Executive Committee (LEC) is pleased to announce the Second Call for Abstracts for the Annual Conference of the International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMUC) in AGA26, to be held at the University of Split, Faculty of Maritime Studies, in Split, Croatia, from 8 to 9 October 2026.
We invite researchers and academics to submit abstracts aligned with the conference theme:
“Human-centred Digital Oceans: Educating Safe & Green Global Maritime Professionals”
Authors may choose to submit an abstract only or an abstract followed by a full paper.
In both cases, oral or poster presentations are mandatory for authors of accepted abstracts.
- All accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Book.
- Peer-reviewed full papers will be published in the IAMUC Proceedings.
- Abstracts and full papers must be submitted exclusively through the EasyChair platform, available on the AGA 26 web page, where all information regarding abstract submission, including guidelines and templates, can be found.
Key Dates:
• Manuscript system opens – Early December 2025
• Abstract submission deadline – 1 February 2026
• Notification of abstract acceptance – 1 March 2026
• Full paper submission deadline – 1 May 2026
• Notification of full paper acceptance – 15 July 2026
• IAMU Conference – 8-9 October 2026
