The 23rd session of the International Executive Board (IEB) was held in Split, Croatia on 22 – 23 April.
During the meeting, the IEB advanced several key developments, including a plan to explore practical actions for achieving the Tokyo Statement, the selection of new Organizational Development Projects to strengthen IAMU’s institutional capacity, the review and endorsement of the slate of new IEB members, and the issuance of the statement addressing the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The IEB also discussed ways to enhance the Presidents’ Forum at the upcoming AGA 26, generating a range of ideas to support the development of its programme.
These outcomes reflect IAMU’s ongoing commitment to advancing maritime education and fostering international cooperation.
